Things, I have been doing during the Enhance community quarantine. As a homebody, staying at home wasn't a problem but the question of what's going to happen tomorrow? Hoping this Covid Virus would soon have a cure.... This questions had me dwell into my anxiety.

Scarlet Heart Ryeo

"So just follow your heart and live. Do everything you want to do and live however you want" - Hae Soo

In this life, we must proceed what we want in life. It is our decision and it is our choice to choose what path we are going to take. By the time comes when we really choose the goal or dream that keeps our hearts burning we would never feel unsatisfied but instead feel blessed because this is what we truly wanted. 

There may be moments when we feel like the goals we wanted to achieve seemed to be in a path where we can't take but it doesn't mean we cannot. We can always put our dreams aside (easier said than done),  if things doesn't come the way you plan it, you can always look back at the dreams you once built :) There's no age limit in pursuing our dreams:) Whatever you choose in life... you go for it! Ganbaterru! 

Here I am again quoting our heroine's words and make it as is if these words are directly to me, because the phrase didn't actually say so in the drama (Hahahaha). Scarlet Heart Ryeo would definitely leave a scar in your heart once you watch this drama and you'll definitely wish that there's a second season to this heart wrenching series!

As a saguek drama, I was 100% sure this wouldn't end in a happy ending and I was right all along! Sageuk drama's would always start as a funny and warm, but as the story progress, it would totally left you crying! (Okay well not everyone might be crying but I did so yeah!) 

My feelings were all played on from the start. When I started watching the drama I was definitely rooting for HAe Soo and  Wang Wook! They're so perfect for each other! But since things weren't possible for them, my heart suddenly starts rooting Wang So in the end. 

Wang So was a troubled character from it's write up. It felt like the writer had given him all the pain in the world that he has to be that way. But deep inside that strong personality lies a heart of a prince (so what's a heart of a prince Janine? hahaha)

Since it's a time jump drama, and changing the past wouldn't do good in the future, things are just too complicated as soon as our Prince Wang Soo had sat into the throne. TRUE LOVE EXISTS but not in this time and true love is hard to find especially when that person is a part of history. IU was HAESOO! I love how she was in this drama. She has such a pure heart! 

Scarlet Heart Ryeo is loosely base on history and it followed the timeline of King Taejo, Jeonjong, and Gwangjoo. The Kilig was there, but sudden turn of events and devastating happenings to the characters is so frustrating that why does it have to be this way. But since it's a historical drama the rules of politics and monarchy shouldn't be abide.  The LOVE LINES are all tragic! I wouldn't dwell deep into it's story but they're all heart wrenching. I guess all princes didn't had their happy endings. 

"NO one in this world has an easy life" - Hae Soo

 But it's up to us how to make our life easy. (i know easier said than done) 

If you're into historical dramas like I do, this drama would fit perfectly for you and the Wang Princes are all adorable and funny!

Psychopath Diary

"There's nothing wrong in being good" 

Dong Shik has always led his life into doing good, but him being too nice to others led him being taken advantage of. 

Psychopath Diary is not your ordinary thiller series. The "Psychopath" term itself seem to be dark, so when I saw the title first I immediately jumped into conclusions that this would be a bloody series. But as soon as I watched it, the drama had different turn of events that had made me laugh from episode 1 to it's last. 

(SPOILERS MAY BE LINGERING IN THIS BLOG) 

This drama is a rare gem! The genre-combo was very uncommon. I didn't expect that this series was so good that it left me in awe with certain situation our main character has to face. Imagine having amnesia and as soon as you browse into your so called diary you find out that you are a psychopath!

(Okay, I'm not a professional reviewer but this deserves a thumbs up)

The series has full of surprises, PLOT TWISTS, nerve wracking moments, and 50% comedy and 50% thriller! I just can't help but laughing at Dong Shik's antics! In a middle of a crucial scene he would immediately busts of his comic interaction with his mind and make comedic faces that would left you laughing. COMEDY has taken over this drama that it left me laughing too much rather than feeling chills on my bones! (I guess I'm too redudant on this but yeah!)

 Dong Shik aka known as Yoon Shi Yoon made this Psychopath drama's humor really laughable, I can say that only him can pull this kind of role!!  (KUDOS to the writer to the drama,inserting humor in a thriller series is hard but yeah they made it possible!)

Seo In Woo is purely evil! He doesn't even have a little bit of remorse, especially when it comes to his blood thirst! I couldn't grasp what's going through his mind with everything he does. Despite the character being scary, a bit unrealistic, Park Sung Hoon really made me hate his character! Gosh I hate it when he laughs as if he couldn't be seeeeeen!

Shim Bo Kyung is so lovable and so pretty! She's so flawlessly amazing here! She was like the light between the good and bad. I find it also funny when she subconsciously talks to her dad. 

HAHAHA just seeing these two makes me laugh hahaha... Bromance to the funniest level!

After watching this drama I felt like our human brain can do wonders. DOng Shik has always been living his life in the way he wanted (To be Kind because that's what his mom wanted him to be), but because of the diary it made him question his true being. But in the end, he finally realizes who he really was and fight through justice. Psychopath Diary also tells us that we can be good no matter what situation we are in.

But this quote reminds us that we have our brains to choose what is right or wrong. We have our brains to know what we should do. We all chose this method to live. So be kind to others, but don't let anyone take advantage of that goodness. 

THIS IS A 10/10 for me.... This drama may not be your cup of tea but if you just try watching it hihihi you won't forget this!

Unforgettable

"Kindness is strenght" 

This movie had bawled my eyes big time! Watching this movie reminds me so much of my "Nanay" when she was still alive. I have felt the pain of losing someone again because of this film. It made me remember her even more today.

Unforgettable teaches us to always be KIND TO OTHERS, because if you are kind to others, little by little you can make peace to everyone and maybe in your little way you can change the world. Kindness can be seen in every form and it is fundamental in our human lives.

Unforgettable also tells us the lessons of "Saying Sorry". It doesn't make you a less just because you have to admit your mistakes and ask for forgiveness.

Sarah Geronimo never fails to deliver what was given of her. She is the heart and soul of this movie.  From blockbuster romantic comedies, to Miss Granny to Unforgettable would surely make you remember this heartwarming movie.

The movie also showed different guest stars that have made the movie even warmer and funnier, each guest character was significant in Jasmine's journey on her way to see her grandmother and again KINDNESS was shown.

VIP Kdrama

"But I guess I kind of hoped some things would last" -

I always wished that everything in this world would last. But I really believed in forever. Forever may not be enough but I really hope it is. 

VIP. I really thought this drama was about Police whose doing an undercover job in a mall for VIPS hahaha... Hold and behold I was wrong! This is a story about a certain love affair that would make your brains go crazy thinking whose who? My siblings and I are huge Jang Nara fans, so whatever Jang Nara is in, we would watch it and we love it and we do love the drama! Every episode made us talk too much...

I was anticipating this drama so much because of Lee Sang Yoon and Jang Nara' pairing, I just felt that their "Kilig Vibes" on photoshoots and on the Master's House show. But obviously there's not much of a loveline here since it talks about infedility! GOSH! I JUST DON'T understand why do men needed to cheat?@?? 

What I have learned, well in all sorts of drama, communication is the key to a good relationship. They said that a person still needs to keep secrets to keep the marriage thrill going but if secrets may lead to lies that's a different story to tell. 

Look at how Na Seong Jun looks at Park Jung Seon :) Funny how their names are almost the same that you get confused who is who. 

I also Love Mina's kids and their family! The kids were always on point with the phrases they tell their parents. I just love how adorable the kids are. 

Love these twwwwwooooooo!!! They're so cutie! Their chemistry is overflowing!

Tale of Nokdu

"It's all right if you cry. And if you don't it's okay as well" 

- Jung Yeon Joo

When things aren't the way you wished it would happen. If failures cross, it's okay to cry, it's okay to vent in to our emotions, and it's also okay if we don't. It's always two sides of the boat. Whatever you do, do it because it is your choice. I love how this scene was like an emotional scene between a father and a son. It felt like this is what our main character needs. 

"Well, do as you please" - Tale of Nokdu

This phrase is like "Bahala ka sa buhay mo" ayon sa nanay mo. When there are things you wished to do, do it with no regrets. Well this line is basically just a line Nokdu have said but again being me, would love to take this line overboard again!  

Super funny and has a very fresh start! I was excited to watch this drama because it's the first drama that would show a man that crossdresses as a girl. I always love Kim So Hyun in every drama she's in it! I guess I have been watching her drama's ever since Moon Embracing the Sun drama, it took me a while watching this drama but it was all worth it and it's HISTORICAL :)

                                          

I knew that things would go a little bit uneasy in the half of the series because it's Saeguk, the fun part was always on the first part and ends up with a saddening end. But this was different! The series have maintained it's warm and funny from start to finish. Kim So Hyun is excellent as always (Fangirl screams) but Dong Goon had shined through the entire series for being super funny and what a beauty?!?!?! (Mas maganda pa sakin! hahahaa bakit ganun?!?) 

                             

Of course every historical drama was about the THRONE!!!! The kings and kings fighting for the throne! And Historical drama's are also about broken pasts, revenge, and "It is written in the stars" as the shaman says "Prediction of the future".

What I also love about the drama was the Mungweol Corps and the village of the widows! (Ang mga kakabaihan!) And oh my gee! Kang So Young!!! (I mean Kimm Chook; so sa past life nila ni Go Eun Byul Friends sila hahahaa)

Sorry, but I couldn't get over this kiss! HAHAHAHAH... I was also hoping of the Bromance all the way but Lord Yool Mu was GRRRRRR... He looked so nice during the first half but as the series progress, you'll get to see his true colors and "BAKIT??!?"

SUPER LOVE! Can't wait to see more from these two human beings! Tingnan mo si Koya, ang pretty!

Laughter in Waikiki!

Definitely Laughter in Waikiki!! I felt like I was too late watching this show, I kinda miss out the fun when Waikiki was trending haahah.. But I guess this show wouldn't be a fun show to watch if it wasn't for the writer, the director and of course the cast! Laughter in Waikiki is a series you shouldn't miss!

My mom always tell me to do things that would make me happy. Du Shik is right! People might say that my dreams are a bit crucial to fulfill but as long as I am happy with what I do and I am not stepping on anyone I will be okay. And if things go wrong and seemed out of place "Gwaenchana! Gwaenchana!" things will be okay! 

"What's wrong with failing and stumbling? You can start over." 

- Yoona Ah 

Easier said than done, but that's how life is. We stumble, we fall, but at the end of the day we must have the courage to take the step to stand up again and again. Life is like Rebecca (Lee Junki Oppa's car), no matter how hard things were, how things weren't working for you, or how things would fail or fall in front of you, it's going to be okay, as soon as you get you "brakes" and your wheels right, things would go smoothly! Hwaiting!

I love how these drama had exceed my level of happiness. Well, I am actually a happy person, even corny things makes me laugh, but this drama is superb! From episode 1 till it's last episode, it would surely crack your tummy! 

I love how friendship becomes family and family becomes life. It's amazing how the trios become mature (hahahahaha well, kinda) as the series progress. This is also the first drama that I do love the Ex Girlfriend! She's so funny and quirky! Chewbacca and Yoona-shii were like your get to go besties that would ease your day when things are tough, and the besties that would make a laughter into a huge riot! 

The cast compliment one another, I felt like there would be no drama as exemplary as this one! My happy heart is happy! But the one person who captures my heart was Sol Ah! She's super cute and her reactions to every scene made it even funnier! It's like 3 men and a baby!

Criminal Minds (Kdrama)

"The world is filled with people trying to stop you" - Criminal Minds Ep 11

I know that this quotes was because of one of their cases but in reality, these words is applicable in real life. Sometimes in order to climb the ladder of success there would be a lot of people who would try to stop you and you know in yourself that you got to be strong because it's how life is.

I also have these moments, when you felt like what others say was true and you let it in to you and in the end you just end up feeling miserable. Even if I know that some of what they say are really TRUE (hahaha can't deny it), in the end I become so stubborn to feel like I deserve to follow what I want in life. I know how to look back on where I began, I know how it feels like struggling, I know how things weren't okay. It's not about proving anyone that I can. It's telling myself I can really do this.


To Criminal Minds Korea thank you! I really loved action packed series, it gives me time to think. To one of my oppas (huwat?) Sato (lee joongi), thank you for another action fun drama to watch! I was just confused with how the Love Line went?! ahahh I was aiming for the two of the leads to be together "but it went like this (insert tik tok song if you know what i mean."

*For the past weeks of quarantine, well for years and years, I have always been reminding myself to just believe. It's amazing how this quotes seem to come from nowhere but reminded you to just hold on!

I will succeed no matter what. I believe I will! It's been weeks since the quarantine, and almost all of the quotes that I have been gathering with the Kdrama's I have been Binge Watching is all about not losing the fight. "The fight towards the dream"

To think that we all can "paint our lifetime through our own time (jk2019)". It's funny how Lawless Lawyer is all about Law and order but here I am taking these words into my own accord. And it's true the words have made an impact on my heart. It reminds me back when I was in college, I am a woman and I can do things, not therefore, not because but I am a woman. If I'll stop now, I'll lose.

To our heroines Bong Sang Pil and Hae Ji, thank you for the constant reminder on keep moving forward to forsee the future of your dream. I really have to believe but sometimes hope can be a source of heartbreak and pain. If you do trust yourself, practice positivity, even if others see that the things you dream are for the weak, never lose the sight of your goals and fight for it.

Lawless Lawyers is a thriller series about Bong Sang Pil who lived a gangster life turned lawyer, wants to avenge his mother's death. On the other hand Hae Ji, suspended after she punches a judge after making a wrong verdict. As the two lawyers meet a series of crime fighting and scenarios these two and their team should face. 

I love this drama that it deserves a 10!!!! From it's casting to it's story. Everyone is patched to one another that you can't get out of your seat and you just can't help but to play next!
