Tale of Nokdu

"It's all right if you cry. And if you don't it's okay as well"

- Jung Yeon Joo

When things aren't the way you wished it would happen. If failures cross, it's okay to cry, it's okay to vent in to our emotions, and it's also okay if we don't. It's always two sides of the boat. Whatever you do, do it because it is your choice. I love how this scene was like an emotional scene between a father and a son. It felt like this is what our main character needs.

"Well, do as you please" - Tale of Nokdu

This phrase is like "Bahala ka sa buhay mo" ayon sa nanay mo. When there are things you wished to do, do it with no regrets. Well this line is basically just a line Nokdu have said but again being me, would love to take this line overboard again!

Super funny and has a very fresh start! I was excited to watch this drama because it's the first drama that would show a man that crossdresses as a girl. I always love Kim So Hyun in every drama she's in it! I guess I have been watching her drama's ever since Moon Embracing the Sun drama, it took me a while watching this drama but it was all worth it and it's HISTORICAL :)

I knew that things would go a little bit uneasy in the half of the series because it's Saeguk, the fun part was always on the first part and ends up with a saddening end. But this was different! The series have maintained it's warm and funny from start to finish. Kim So Hyun is excellent as always (Fangirl screams) but Dong Goon had shined through the entire series for being super funny and what a beauty?!?!?! (Mas maganda pa sakin! hahahaa bakit ganun?!?

Of course every historical drama was about the THRONE!!!! The kings and kings fighting for the throne! And Historical drama's are also about broken pasts, revenge, and "It is written in the stars" as the shaman says "Prediction of the future".

What I also love about the drama was the Mungweol Corps and the village of the widows! (Ang mga kakabaihan!) And oh my gee! Kang So Young!!! (I mean Kimm Chook; so sa past life nila ni Go Eun Byul Friends sila hahahaa)

Sorry, but I couldn't get over this kiss! HAHAHAHAH... I was also hoping of the Bromance all the way but Lord Yool Mu was GRRRRRR... He looked so nice during the first half but as the series progress, you'll get to see his true colors and "BAKIT??!?"

SUPER LOVE! Can't wait to see more from these two human beings! Tingnan mo si Koya, ang pretty!

Thank you again for dropping by! I hope your dreams would come true and so as my dreams! SPICE!

Laughter in Waikiki!

Definitely Laughter in Waikiki!! I felt like I was too late watching this show, I kinda miss out the fun when Waikiki was trending haahah.. But I guess this show wouldn't be a fun show to watch if it wasn't for the writer, the director and of course the cast! Laughter in Waikiki is a series you shouldn't miss!

"I am happy doing the best things I like. Everyone has different standards of happiness" - Du Shik

My mom always tell me to do things that would make me happy. Du Shik is right! People might say that my dreams are a bit crucial to fulfill but as long as I am happy with what I do and I am not stepping on anyone I will be okay. And if things go wrong and seemed out of place "Gwaenchana! Gwaenchana!" things will be okay!

"What's wrong with failing and stumbling? You can start over."
- Yoona Ah

Easier said than done, but that's how life is. We stumble, we fall, but at the end of the day we must have the courage to take the step to stand up again and again. Life is like Rebecca (Lee Junki Oppa's car), no matter how hard things were, how things weren't working for you, or how things would fail or fall in front of you, it's going to be okay, as soon as you get you "brakes" and your wheels right, things would go smoothly! Hwaiting!

I love how these drama had exceed my level of happiness. Well, I am actually a happy person, even corny things makes me laugh, but this drama is superb! From episode 1 till it's last episode, it would surely crack your tummy!

I love how friendship becomes family and family becomes life. It's amazing how the trios become mature (hahahahaha well, kinda) as the series progress. This is also the first drama that I do love the Ex Girlfriend! She's so funny and quirky! Chewbacca and Yoona-shii were like your get to go besties that would ease your day when things are tough, and the besties that would make a laughter into a huge riot!

The cast compliment one another, I felt like there would be no drama as exemplary as this one! My happy heart is happy! But the one person who captures my heart was Sol Ah! She's super cute and her reactions to every scene made it even funnier! It's like 3 men and a baby!

"If we stay positive, I'm sure our dreams will come true" - Laughter in Waikiki!

I hope your dreams may come true and so as my dreams! Thank you for dropping by! SPICE!

Criminal Minds (Kdrama)

"The world is filled with people trying to stop you" - Criminal Minds Ep 11

I know that this quotes was because of one of their cases but in reality, these words is applicable in real life. Sometimes in order to climb the ladder of success there would be a lot of people who would try to stop you and you know in yourself that you got to be strong because it's how life is.

I also have these moments, when you felt like what others say was true and you let it in to you and in the end you just end up feeling miserable. Even if I know that some of what they say are really TRUE (hahaha can't deny it), in the end I become so stubborn to feel like I deserve to follow what I want in life. I know how to look back on where I began, I know how it feels like struggling, I know how things weren't okay. It's not about proving anyone that I can. It's telling myself I can really do this.

To Criminal Minds Korea thank you! I really loved action packed series, it gives me time to think. To one of my oppas (huwat?) Sato (lee joongi), thank you for another action fun drama to watch! I was just confused with how the Love Line went?! ahahh I was aiming for the two of the leads to be together "but it went like this (insert tik tok song if you know what i mean."

*For the past weeks of quarantine, well for years and years, I have always been reminding myself to just believe. It's amazing how this quotes seem to come from nowhere but reminded you to just hold on!

Thank you Lord for consistently telling me this! Thank you Lord for all the miracles and little victories in my life! Thank you for dropping by my blog!

Where the stars land

"Whatever happens, if we don't make an effort nothing would happen" - Chae Soo Bin

Me being me, seeing quotes like this made me feel like the universe is talking to me and telling me that I should never give up; where the stars land tells me that. This series tackled different scenarios airport personells had to faced (whether in times of rampage of a certain passenger, a delayed flight, or so on and so forth). Watching these drama made me fly back to my once upon a dream where I wanted to become a flight stewardess. I love airports. I love how I used to get excited just hearing it's name. And this series was like a reminder of a dream I used to have when I was younger.

"Whatever happens, if we don't make an effort nothing would happen"

This quote applies to everything we do. If we just sit like Juan and wait for the mango to fall on our mouth nothing would happen. The mango would just rot on the tree without us tasting the sweetness of the fruit. Same with life, if we don't move on our couches and make every step to make our dreams come true (for sure failures and triumphs would be never ending), we wouldn't taste the real feeling of success. Every thing in this world (it may be little miracles) would surely count as a blessing.

This drama gives me a push of the dreams I have been writing in my heart. #YESTOPOSITIVITY (walang masamang mangarap) You just have to hold on and make it through.

Just like our lovely main leads Han Yoo Reum and Lee So Hyeon, they strived really hard to aim for their dreams, and they inspired me to work with happiness in my heart because this is what I wanted to do.

The drama is super refreshing! Airport drama is amaaaaaazzee! Forgive me because Airports are my thing hahahaha... Kudos to everyone in this drama especially our Filipino Actors Ej Falcon and Lauren Young, Filipinos represent!

The only thing I didn't like about the drama was the ending! It was like HUH? Why in the world did they do this to us?!!??! But yeah still good to me! 9.5 (Because of the ending!!!)/10!

Thank you so much for reading my blog and dropping by! Kamsamnida! Stay safe! I hope your dreams would come true and so as my dreams! SPICE!

Things I have learned from our Kawaii PH Leaders: D

I have always been introvert as a child, in order to get out of my shell; my mom had enrolled me with different extra-curricular activities to enhance my social skill, to the extent that I have chosen my Communication Arts course to be more sociable. My course was therapeutic for me, I have learned a lot of things in myself, things that I didn’t expect that I would overcome.
After graduation, I have often asked this questions until now “What are you doing with your life?” it’s an easy question, but I am always having a hard time answering. My mind is screaming, “I am focusing on myself and I would love to hone my craft and to earn money in the way I liked it” but my mouth is pre-cautiously uttering “I am still looking for a job but for now I am self employed.” In return I would be slammed with words “Find any job, don’t be picky. You should earn more than what you are earning now”
If you’re going to read it, all they wanted was for me to find a job so that I could give the necessities that are suitable for my family. I am the eldest it’s my job my dreams are to follow. But my yearnings for that hope of one day my dreams would come true and I am going to make it is kept hidden behind my heart and the only people who knew was my mom and siblings and my best friend.
Years from now, I am still a nobody; I am still trapped on being a potato.(HAHAHA) I am out on the open, but I am scared in reaching for that life vest that would save me.  And here I am still trying to do my best to swim, to not let myself drown on my own tears, so despite of my inner monsters trying to stop me what I want and despite of others judging me till I lose myself, I remain calm, positive and still has the drive to achieve what I want, to the extent others find it stubborn.
I listen to every criticism they say, I keep it in my heart so that I could remain strong despite of this storm. So as I was venturing into my own crafts and dreams, I have come to a place where I feel that somehow I am not the only one who has been feeling this way, I have been an avid reader of Kaila, Chichi, Ashley and Anne for quite some time now, and for every sweet knowledge of life (quotable quotes of positiveness), I have copy and paste it here on my work pad so that I could keep reminding myself to be positive at all times yet is okay to be feeling down sometimes and that every dream is possible if you have the power of believing in it.  And I thanked them for showing me and all the other girls that there is nothing wrong to like cute things at age 25 :D “It’s okay to be different sometimes”

Here are the things I have learned from our Kawaii Ph leaders

1.      On getting out of your comfort zone

a.        “Get uncomfortable” – Kaila (rainbowholic) “Frustrations can be quite a helpful, if you just acknowledge they exist & you befriend them. Hello frustration, let’s be friends. And hi future failures, let me learn from all you. Though please do not slap me too hard when I experience you, thank you. And I do hope that as I grow and mature, you guys better minimize yourselves lolol. : )” (http://the.rainbowholic.me/thoughts/dreams-and-comfort-zones/) -Our answers to remedies is not inside our safe zone but beyond the limits of our own sanctuaries, we must be able get out of that space and to accept the challenge life had banged on us, it’s okay to fail sometimes and learn at the same time-
b.       “There are no free lessons in life, so they say. Especially when I’m out there in the wildlands, nobody’s gonna water me or… nurture me with fertilizer” – Chichi (LittleMissPaintbrush) – - I practiced every chance I got. I just kept on drawing whenever I could, and soon I began to learn what works for me and what doesn’t. I still do these things until now! (http://hello.chi-chi.me/2016/11/the-perks-of-being-a-wildflower/) -In order to improve on yourself, whether it’s on your artistic skills or on your talents, you need to figure out things on your own first, what do you visualize for your own self, what are the ways you need to improve or hone your talents.
c.        “Proper Implementation: Always think ahead! Don’t be afraid to bend your plans a little if chance doesn’t go your way.” – Ashley (Candy Kawaii Lover) – (http://ashleydy.com/2011/12/25/progressive/) Sometimes our plans never work out the way we wanted it, there’s a little bit twist in fate that made it exciting or sometimes just annoying. It’s okay, all we need to do is to think about any necessary actions to simply not ruin our day, or just face it as calmly as possible (easier said than done), but we’ll never know, all we need is a major guidance from the heavens above, so that our life would be smooth sailing.

2.       On surrounding yourself with People
a.        “You also need passionate friends. The one who will support you and inspire you to keep going. I just have to say if you need doses of inspiration, follow Kaila, ChichiKaye and Tricia.” – Ashley (http://ashleydy.com/2016/04/17/26-things-i-learned-about-myself/)
b.       “You really are the average of the people you hang out with. Make sure you’re in the right crowd. It doesn’t have to be a big one.. it just needs to be the right one for you. You don’t need many friends, you need real ones!” – Kaila (http://the.rainbowholic.me/personal/on-motivating-yourself-x-reaching-your-dreams-x-having-the-right-attitude/)
c.        “I met a handful of people who touched my life. Some stayed and some are just for a moment but it’s not about the duration but it’s about the moments that happened that should be treasured.” – Anne
d.       “Right now as I grow older, I only maintain quality friendships and I no longer make time for half-hearted relationships that just confuse me. Because I love myself, I know who to keep close in my life and I try my best to stray away from drama.” - Kaila

3.      On inspirations
a.        It’s easy to be inspired when you love what you do. Even when other people try to bring me down, I carry on. =P I stay inspired because art is my passion. :DD” – Chichi (http://the.rainbowholic.me/features/little-miss-paintbrush/)
b.        “Inspiration: Whether it’s a season, a person or a colour. Everything starts with a dream.” – Ashley (http://ashleydy.com/2011/12/25/progressive/)
c.        If you doubt yourself, your possible sources of inspiration will be limited, because even from the start, you believe you can’t do certain things” – Chichi (http://hello.chi-chi.me/2016/02/kawaii-and-my-creative-process/#more-388)

4.      On success
a.        “Real success in life does not only mean living your life the way you want it to be… but it’s also how you share or lift others up once you are capable of doing amazing things by your own rules.” (http://the.rainbowholic.me/thoughts/dreams-and-comfort-zones/)
b.       “ I personally believe that success is relative, I'm grateful that other people consider me as such. There are still lots of things that I have to accomplish when it comes to blogging but for opportunities - does it mean getting invited to events? free trips abroad?” – Ashley (http://www.thecollegecandy.com/2015/09/Interview-With-Ashley-Dy-of-Candy-Kawaii-Lover.html)

5.      On feedbacks
a.        “LISTEN LISTEN LISTEN. Don’t be immediately defensive. Understanding a feedback takes time, so take your time. Know who the feedback is coming from, is it biased because they hate/love you? One way to avoid biased critiques is controlling feedback by initiating/asking for it. This way, you’re prepared and you’re in control!” – Chichi

6.      On how you deal with people who doesn’t support you
a.        “Do not get too affected on what people would think and tell about you.”- Kaye (http://the.rainbowholic.me/kawaii/the-dolly-dreams-of-kaye-romero/)
b.       Don’t just tell them your dreams, show them, Waste your time in doing what you’re supposed to do and let your success story show them of your idea of happy success, hehe.” – Kaila (http://the.rainbowholic.me/thoughts/when-your-loved-ones-are-not-supportive/)
c.        “So when somebody is unsupportive you, don’t let the unsupportive-ness stop you from reaching your full potential.” – Kaila
d.       “When nobody believes you can, it does not matter. What matters is you believe in yourself” – Kaila
e.        “I’ve encountered some people who would tell me that these efforts will not do anything for my future, which I find really harsh. But of course, I should not let these get in my way. I just need to work hard enough and prove that someday, my dreams WILL come true and they will not underestimate me anymore” –Kaye

7.      ME TIME
a.        “Learn how to be alone. Incubate yourself. Hibernate from time to time.” – Kaila

8.      On failing
a.        “When you hit the rock bottom part of your life, embrace your sadness for a while but wipe your tears afterwards and be brave enough to face your own problems head-on (and with a fresh startttt)!” – Kaila
b.       Remember that you have the power to try and try again. As of the moment, I am still figuring out a lot of things I know I’d make many messy loops in my life… but it’s okay.” – Kaila

9.      It’s Okay to be different
a.        “it is better to be different in a normal crowd. At least, you are standing out!”- Kaye

10. On Happiness
a.         I got to learn how to be happy from the simple and small things I see around me. Like this soft-served and macaron. It reminded me that life can be sweet too.” – Anne (http://anne.kawaii.ph/2016/03/2015/)
b.       Happiness is definitely a choice. If you’re feeling sad right now try to smile/ exaggerate your laugh, you’ll feel at least a little bit better.” – Ashley (http://ashleydy.com/2016/04/17/26-things-i-learned-about-myself/)

11. On achieving your dreams
a.        I just need to work hard enough and prove that someday, my dreams WILL come true and they will not underestimate me anymore.” – (Kaye, DollyKaye)
b.       When achieving your dreams, the looks + talent combination is never enough. Looks + talent + RIGHT ATTITUDE will bring you to your dream destination.” – Kaila
c.        “The world is huge and my world shouldn’t just revolve in Japan somehow. I miss it so, so much though. Maybe, it’s time to see how far can I really go” – Ashley
d.       “When reaching those dreams of yours, just work hard.Slowly, one by one, you will reach those dreams.” – (http://the.rainbowholic.me/kawaii/the-dolly-dreams-of-kaye-romero/)
e.         “Analyze your dreams well, Set your goals, Have a deadline, Live your life, Emerge yourself to the community you want to be in, You will get there” – Ashley

12. Dreams do Come true
a.        “To be honest I’m teary-eyed typing everything right now because this is very close to my heart and this is a big proof that DREAMS DO COME TRUE and God is really kind, He grant my wish… my dream. Well to every dreamer.” – Anne on her first Fashion Photoshoot on Coleen Garcia

26 things I have learned in Life and in achieving my dreams

Happy Birthday To ME!! Feelings about being 26, well not that much, I still feel the same but this time I am a little bit of “gigil” in d...
