Eric Nam's Online Album Showcase (The Other Side)

"Cause we were born to fly
Close your eyes and draw
Leave here now
Somewhere I dreamed
Lost in this paradise"
-Paradise by Eric Nam (Eng.Trans)

Gigs and concerts are postponed due to the rapid increase of corona virus in all parts of the world, and as the nation adjust to it's "New Norm" and life under quarantine, many artists had showcase their musical talents online for their fans to view and enjoy.

Late nights and Stay at home concert! While everyone is already asleep, here I am watching Eric Nam's late night online concert, without the hassle of tiptoeing because there are taller girls in front of me or the loud scream everyone is giving and jamming to the song, this concert was an "All by myself concert" where you watch on your own happiness.

As the Covid 19 still scares everyone, Eric Nam's mini concert had paved way with the social distancing in all parts of the world. This may not be your first online live concert, but I enjoyed watching because this is my first live online concert viewing.

He played some of his own tracks like "I'm sexy you're sexy, Congratulations, Runaway, and his new single Paradise". He also sang a few verse from BTS Euphoria :)

I'm so happy because my internet didn't act up like it used to be. It didn't slow down and didn't lag in the middle, maybe he knows I like watching Eric Nam! (huwat?!!?!?)

Anyhoo.... the concert was fun to watch as Eric awkwardly engage himself to his fans. Well that's what he said because it's weird to sing all by himself and not seeing viewers in front of him.

He ended his mini concert with his new single Paradise which he said that all of us has our own "paradise", a dream or it could be a goal, optimistic song encourage us to believe that we will get there.

Eric's song Paradise made me remember of my very own Neverland, where all of your dreams are accumulated into one. His right about all of has having our own paradise, our own world where we could relive our dreams but his song Paradise also tells us to always look forward for our tomorrows cause tomorrows are always a new day to begin :) thanks eric!

Sushi Bake

After sinking myself with Kdrama's and chill, here I am with my newest food review in quarantine! Everyone is talking about this! It's in the news, it's on my social media timeline, it's literally everywhere!

I am super thankful cause I had the chance to taste one of the recipes that was created during the time of quarantine! Not just that, my family and I really enjoyed SUSHI BAKE! Thank you Ma'am for this SUSHI BAKE! Yes Capslock para intense!

For our SUSHI BAKE, TasteandTellMnl had made our stomachs really enjoy the food. It seems new but it's not, the taste of the authentic Sushi is all in the food! As soon as we taste it, all we could say is MASARAP! Yes! You can watch it on our VLOG here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0l9JJ5gjpY&t=3s

Sushi Bake from Taste MNL had two varieties  Kani Sushi Aburi and Scallop Salmon Sushi Aburi! Oh wait I think there's three viands, there's also Umami Unagi Aburi! Three varieties to choose from!

I wish i had a better photo for this one, but all of the photos I have taken were blurry! I guess I just couldn't help myself but to EAT already! Enough photos already!

VERDICT:

Taste?
My siblings and I and our mom really loved it! As in! We we're all like MASARAP! Hmmmm... MASARAP talaga huhuhuhu...

You know what's attractive with this Sushi Bake is the seaweed! Normally, we see them wrapped on them (the normal sushi) but this time the power is on you. That combination where you can put as many rice you can on that seaweed paper or as few as you want makes it really mouth watery and a food that you would love to eat all the time!

Is it worth it?
YES, we have tasted Salmon Scallop Kani Aburi, you can really taste the SALMON, you can see the SCALLOP and the CRAB!!! huhuhuuhh... we really did enjoy everything that was in it!

No, not everyone could afford sushi bake :( a normal family like us couldn't afford food as yummy as this one, so I'm really thankful that we had the opportunity to taste tasteandtellmnl's sushi bake. IT'S SUPER DELISYOSO promise! But like they say we can still enjoy food such as this "pagdating ng sweldo or pag nakapag ipon na"

To tasteandtellmnl, thank you for sharing this recipe to us!! We're really super happy and we really enoyed it! Thank you Ma'am for giving this to us! This is really a beautiful gift! :)

A World of Married

Finally watched The World of Married, all I have was applause to all characters! Especially to Kim Hee Ae! From episode 1 to the last episode, I felt everything from that and it clutch my heart. It's so unpredictable that you wouldn't know what happened next! Thank goodness I didn't look at the spoilers on my timeline!

What I'll be blogging about is what I have learn from the series.

1. You cannot trust everyone.

From the first episode, our main lead finds out that all of her friends had betrayed her. That all of her friends knew that her husband had an affair, the pain she let us feel made me feel the pain as well. Her husband, who she thought loves her so much had the audacity to make her feel like she's a fool in making her believe she's the ONLY ONE!!!!!

2. Once trust is broken, you can never put it back.

Trust is like a glass that if it falls or break you cannot bring back the pieces together. The same as what happened to Je Hyuk and Yerim, despite of Je Hyuk cleaning up his game and making his eyes only for his wife, Yerim couldn't erase the fact that Je Hyuk cheated on her. That it's not about him anymore, it's about how she will feel during the process.

3. What goes around comes around

It's always about "Don't do unto others what you don't want others do you". Da Kyung felt that the world is in her hands because she finally had the man she loves, a daughter, a family to built and the life where she could be truly happy. But at the end of the day, she suffers from an issue of trust, disloyalty

4. Children is the most affected in the relationship

I wouldn't dwell so much on this because children who are products of broken marriages like they say are different but I guess I feel Joon Hyun to the extent I do understand him, I dislike him sometimes due to his unreasonable choices, but I do understand where his coming from. As children we never understand what our parents are going through and the same as our parents not understanding what we are going through. I guess that the mother and son lack communication that Dr. Sun Woo thinks she loves and care for his son that he's actions were unreasonable but Joon Hyun on the other hand had a hard time telling what he really felt. At the end it's not just about understanding but at the same time knowing what each other really felt.

5. Realizing your worth.

Realizing your worth not only as a woman but as a human as well. I love Dr. Sun Woo, but I love Yerim more, I didn't understand her character at first but here's a woman who chooses herself, realizes her worth and most importantly is to do things for herself and rebuild her life in the way she wanted it to be.

6. Growth is inevitable.

Everyone in this drama showed intensive growth all throughout the series well I guess Lee Tae Oh maintained himself being a jerk all throughout the series and just did some changes in the end I guess, but the biggest change of character well growth is Dr. Sul, she started as that two face friend who goes goody goody in front of you and back stab you after, I really dislike her character, but as the series progress, she had marked as one of my most loved character in the drama.

I really like all the cast even if I don't like Lee Tae Oh's character, I mean his the real villain in the whole series, everyone is really their characters, no one is a throw away!

Danced to BbiBbi

Hello! It's me :) hahaha

IU's is one of my favorite Kpop singers and she inspires me. She gives me that  major vibe about dreamers and letting us dream through our own process and reminded us of "never giving up" and holding on to your dreams.

I also like the way IU wears her clothes! The ultimate fashion icon! (Hello Jang Man Weol!) For this post, I'll be doing an IU BBiBBi inspired fashion. HOPE YOU LIKE IT!

Tried imitating this Outfit of IU using my longsleeves from Bershka and Shawl from Wizard of Waverly Place (bought this because I was a super fan of Selena Gomez hihihi)

For this outfit tried imitating it using my mom's old blazer and match it with my forever 21 skirt and H&M skirt. I didn't have a shoes that looks like Iu's so I finished my look with an Adidas rubber shoes :)

This is one of my favorite. Back in the days (yes back in the days, hahaha my tita heart is screaming), I always have this as one of my hairstyles. So it's nice to repeat this hairstyle that I have been doing back when I was younger.

Last but definitely not that least is Iu's famous Yellow :) Tried matching it with a yellow head band and a yellow sweater :)

Here's my dance cover of IU's BBiBBi https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QBtSTkWsEHk :)
