Kdrama Toys: Handmade

Whenever there’s Kdrama, it’s almost a 99.9 percent there’s merchandise in it (especially the overloading cuteness of each plushies).

With the collection of kdramas, having that one significant thing of your currently obsessed product make you want to have it too! It’s like giving yourself a gift after long hours of work J But since I couldn’t afford (YET) those cute toys! (and my mom would not want to cover my room with plushies since I have poor lungs) so here are some of the handmade felt keychains I have made this past few months, I would like to say “THANK YOU!” to my clients for ordering this cutesies from me J

Exhibit A: Descendants of the SUNS
Who would not adore this couple dolls? Seeing them really reminds you of that heartwarming moment when Captain Yoo Si Jin had to tie Doctor Kang Mo Yeon shoes  during the midst of the earthquake. Love love love! I have even made a tutorial for these cuties! You can check it out here: http://lilmissjaninekaye.blogspot.com/2016/05/descendants-of-sun-diy.html

Exhibit B: Cheese in the Trap
The little lion! The couple key charm sunbae gave Hong Seol while they were window shopping J

Exhibit C: Goblin
Insert Song: Never far away :D
Oh hello there Mr. Buckwheat!

Exhibit D: Cheongdamdong Alice
Made this for myself (hihihi) I don’t know, I just felt connected with Moon Geun Young’s character when she made those dolls for the CEO. Because I myself, I am making handmade dolls J I just felt we are on the same path of likes J

You can also see this bunny in Suspicious Partner (with different clothes)

Exhibit E: The liar and his lover
Because Crude Play J I think it match the mood of songs and melody and somehow magical connection! I just finished watching the Liar and his Lover last week, when a client emailed me if I could make a felt doll out of recycled materials J and whaaalllaaa here’s my replica of ShiHoon’s doll :D

Exhibit F: Dream Knight
Again made it for myself, and gave it to my friends (for friendship dolls)
A little story, after making my very first felt doll (which you guys know, Chloe my Dainty Pink Logo) Got7 dolls are the very first dolls I made that is not smaller than my palm but in fact bigger. It took me the whole week to finish this dolls and find some recycled materials for it J

Exhibit G: Strong Woman Do Bong Soon
The cat owns it! Well, this doll had only few shots in the drama but it made a huge impact for it’s viewers and despite of having few shot’s, I think I got it right! J

Exhibit H: My exhibit :D
My little Chloe J so I have always dreamed that someday my little Chloe would be seen in Kdrama’s as well (hahahaha I know it’s super high but who knows maybe just one day) or just simply being held by my favorite kdrama stars so I made a mini collection of my dream :D

KDRAMA: Fashion Inspired (part 1)

I am not really a fashionable person, but I do love taking photos of the clothes I wear (you can check out my lookbook here http://lookbook.nu/littlemissjanine). I don't buy my clothes:all my stuffs were hand me down and some were gifts from Family, but since I am now on my mid 20's I tried my best to look good for myself and be happy staring at the clothes that I wear :D

So here are the Kdrama Fashion Inspiration that I did for April and May :D
Take Note: You don't need to buy the exact clothes our Unnie's and Oppa's wear on every Kdrama. You can definitely find one in your very own closet :) All you need is to mix and match and make your everyday the RUNWAY :) hohohoho

Shin Min Ah is widely known for having a fashionable sense in every character she's portraying and because of Tomorrow with You, many fans have been captured by Song Marin's (Shin Min Ah) fashion style. Song Marin is a photographer, and her style is very quirky and sweet, and sometimes casual (consisted of men's formal jacket) yet classy and elegant and every outfit just simply match her bubbly personality.

In achieving this look, I really looked for clothes that are almost the same as her style in the episode 1 after she had a hang over. For the blazer, I used my Gap blazer (basil or sage in color), black designed shirt, black leather belt, and a high waist skirt that I used way back in high school, and my one and only adidas rubber shoes to complete the outfit. For accessories, I used my super dark blue (oxford blue) beach bag and a black leather bag.

To achieve this semi look, Black Shirt (can be an oversize shirt), a denim vest, red pants, and a rubber shoes. To literally match her style don't forget your camera (SNAP!)

Define strong statement tops. To achieve this look, white top (printed with stripes or just simply white), yellow pants, a brown (black) leather bag, for shoes you can wear high heels but if you just want some comfy style you can wear your favorite sneakers and walla! Song Marin comfy version!

Who would forget the oozing fashion style of Bandanas, and it's back to complete your sporty yet preppy style. From White T-shirts, you can match it with your pedal pants, and black shoes and tying your bandana ala scarf.

To achieve this young and adorable style, for my top, I used a almost same shade as Song MArin's top which is baby blue, a black jumper dress, a black leather bag and some black shoes (used sneakers for this look).

hihihihi :D

For Gumiho's fashion style, her look is simply an adorable flash of fashion. The colors used for her outfit's was playing with the colors of nude, light colors and white. The colors and fashion style portrayed really well in the series because it matches Gumiho's innocence and character, at the same time it eludes fun and excitement for the character itself.

To achieve this outfit, all you need is a checkered polo (any colors can do, but if you really want the exact same color you can!), white dress and a nude colored shoes.

KIM GO EUN's Ji Euntak and Hong Seol

My other favorite fashion get up is no other than Hong Seol's and Ji Euntak's vibe. For Hong Seol, she brings back that campus feel of fashion where you can simply wear yourself. The fashion statement that says, I can be whoever I want to be, I can be casual, chic, comfy, sporty, simple or feminine! It's like all types of style in the whole school year. For Ji Eun Tak, just like Hong Seol, she also rocks her high school uniform with a lovely and adorable twist! Definitely suitable for cold weathers, since large hoodies, coats, pullovers and cardigans is the new thing! (well not suitable for my country hihihi since it's a tropical country! define tagaktak ang pawis mo pag nag sweater ka!
To achieve this look, used an almost same color shade's as Ji Euntak's hoodie, but mine is lighter hihihi, a ribbon top, a school type of skirt, leggings, and a rubber shoes. To finish your outfit don't forget your back pack and your scarfs.

To achieve this teaser photo of Ji Eun Tak, wore a black top, gray type of jumper dress, gray socks and high heeled shoes. :D

To achieve this look, gray long sleeves, a black mini skirt (best way to pull this outfit off is to tucked in your tops and match it with your black leather bag) and don't forget the Hong Seol Bangs hihihi :D

To achieve this look, White Polo top, a muslin colored pants and a shoes that matches it's color, or you can just wear black shoes just like what Hong Seol wore.

To achieve this look, used a sage colored blazer, plain black shirt, a maong shorts and sneakers.
To achieve this look all you need is messaged type of t-shirt, pencil cut oxford blues skirt and your favorite white sneakers :)

:) until next time! How about you guys? What's your fashion peg?

Kdrama FEELS: Food Review

This blog is dedicated to my unnie who is superbly supportive in everything that I do! Thank you for sponsoring this stuffs! Hugs and Kisses! :)

After posting my KDrama feels in the Philippines last last last week, my best friend surprised me with Korean stuffs such as Ramen, Morning Rice and ginseng drink. Now, we can all do this Kdrama feels at home :) So here's some of the photos I have taken :) Lets have some Kdrama feeeeeeeeels!

Basically here are the "FOOD" that we usually see in Korean Dramas!

(Price range from 220php and above per pack)

The K2 scene!

a. Hot Chicken Flavor - Define "Maanghang!!"  Spicy Noodles to the bones! I was actually warned by my best friend to not put all the spice in it, but since I wanted to feel this noodle thingy "BINUHOS KO NG BONNGA!" It looks like a noodle dressed as a spaghetti, just exclude the hot-dogs and beef :) If you're not a spicy person like me, "ay magkalimutan na" it's really spicy you won't even know it's real taste.

look at those SPICESSSSS!

b. Seafood Ramen - Well, I could say that this ramen is not spicy enough compared to Hot Chicken Flavored noodles. Hmmmm how to say this, it's spicy but not that spicy "tamang anghang lang" because you can still taste the SEAFOOD in it!

Overall it's taste is different than our pansit, it has a bigger packaging, and it will really leave you "busog"

My rating would be 8/10 :D

2. Woongjin Korean Morning Rice Drink
Price - 180php

The Flower Boy Next Door Morning Rice scene :D

Made my slogan for this "Once you taste it you can't resist" okay, well it's according to my taste buds

At first the taste is like "AM" (the unang kulo of your sinaing but with a sweeter taste) I can't really distinguish it's taste if it's like Soya Milk or just rice. Its just amazed me how this could taste good, it could be a great partner for your spicy ramen. It would clearly help you tolerate the spice. It's also good for your stomach! :D

Taste Rating: 8/10

3. Soju!
Prices may vary on different convenient stores here in the Philippines

Okay, Alcoholic drinks never taste good! Since I don't drink, first taste is like no comment (PARA SA KDRAMA FEELS KO TINIKMAN KO SIYA!) I just don't understand why in Kdrama's they like it so much! hahaha (acting requires good facial expression I guess)

It taste like medicine, HAHAHA, they said it's also a nice combination for ramen :) Because I don't drink, I gave it to my uncles to taste it! Sorry Chingu Yah! :)

taste rate: 5/10

4. Korean Resto!
And if you really want to taste AUTHENTIC KOREAN DISH and experience the Korean Vibe  you can visit Annyeong 678 at the Mall of Asia Arena! I promise you, you can really enjoy Korean dish here! And if you're really a Korean Show fan you would get a little kilig to know that it's Kang Hodong's Resto :D

(1,300php approx for two people)

The famous wrap in Kdrama's "BOSSAM"
The first thing we always eat on every Korean restaurant! That feeling when you ate it all you can do is say "Mashittda" (taste good!) With Shrimp sauce, kimchi and add some rice of course don't forget your beef/pork, you can surely enjoy this Bossam with your friends!

taste rate: sibjeom manjeome sibjeom! 10 out of 10 :D

Spicy Tteokbokki
It taste like kimchi but better, there are some spices that was added, I don't really know what it's called but it actually complements the rice cake. It has ramen in it, (it looks like spaghetti because of it's large cheese in it) It also has fish cake and eggs in it! "Isang caldero ang size niya" Good for two to three persons or more! :) The only thing that I don't understand is the more you eat it, the more it taste different "Sometimes masarap, sometimes walang lasa, sometimes sakto lang!"

taste rate: 8/10

Kimchi Stew
Overall Kimchi with soup hihihih, I don't have much to explain about this dish, all I can say is it taste really Kimchi! hahahaha :D It's nice if you combine this with rice :) "Para busog talaga"
Taste Rate: 7/10

Overall Korean dish is "Nakakabusog"! It's not just one ulam and that's it! There are lot's of side dishes that would make your stomach full!

I hope you enjoy my mini food review about the food we used to see in Kdrama's! :) Until Next time!
