Train

Oh hello YOON SI YOON! Finished watching my favorite Oppa! hahaha Yap I have so many faves! But Tak Gu is an exception hahaha he will always be my fave! :)

Yoon Si Yoon is back with another drama called Train. I guess this year would be a kdrama world filled with a parallel universe. Do you guys think that in our parallel universe "COVID 19" does exist?

PLOT from ASIAN WIKI

"A man lost a precious person because of a serial killer. He crosses over into a different world to figure out the truth behind her death.

Seo Do-won (Yoon Si-Yoon) is a detective and he is enthusiastic at his job. Han Seo-Kyung (Kyung Soo-Jin) is a prosecutor with an honest personality. Lee Jung-Min (Shin So-Yul) is a member of a scientific investigation unit. She is Seo Do-Won’s childhood friend and also his first love. She supports Seo Do-Won."

Yoon Si Yoon is Seo Do-Won a police officer in A world and a senior inspector in B world. So it means double the fun! It's like one for you and one for me! This is the second time he does a double character, Your Honor is the first one. He plays a detective in two worlds and was a trap in between both worlds when he was solving a case about the mysterious serial killings at the abandoned train station. While he was taking the serial murder case, his childhood friend and first love was the last victim of the serial killer and this is where all the mystery begins.

All I can say is that Yoon Si Yoon always nailed it for me! Portraying two characters would be difficult but Yoon Si Yoon had pulled it so smoothly that the characters he portrayed would totally be recognizable (With an addition to the character's theme and nature). He's always into his character that he never disappoints!

Kyung Soo Jin as Prosecutor Han Seo Kyung in A World and Detective Han Seo Kyeong in B World. I recognize Kyung Soo as the second female lead at Weightlifting fairy :) Both of her characters is completly opposite. Prosecutor Han has a strict but loving personality. She always had eye smiles for Do-won. On the other hand, Detective Han is a bit boyish and had a sad aura on her face.

Shin So Hyul as Lee Jungmin both in A world and B world. Seo Do Woon And Han Seo Kyung childhood friend on World A and Seo Deo Won's childhood friend and lover on World B. She's one of my favorite characters in the drama. I always get happy whenever she shares a screen with Do Won. She's the only character who knew that Do Won crosses to the other world. The only difference is, on A world she doesn't believe in him, and on the B world she kinda does.

The drama has only 10 episodes, so if you feel like 16 ep is too long for you have to take this drama into your watch list and watch it! Like crime investigating drama and mystery, it always had that cliffhanger in the end that you want to know more! Why did they have to have this cliffhanger?!

Overall the drama is engaging. The color tone of this drama adds up the excitement and the clues on who, why or where? Check this out guys!

Thank you so much for reading my blog! :) Stay Safe! :)

Midnight Blues

And so here it goes, late-night talks with friends can really affect your body, mind, and soul. I totally miss my friends. Growing up with friends who genuinely love you and want the best for you is something I am thankful for.

No pretentions, no judgements, just pure unconditional love. I was tearing up as soon as I hear the words coming from their mouth. I felt like I was a kid being held up because I was so lost and scared.

Thank you for the words of encouragement. I seldom talk, I usually listen, and I always smile on the side, but literally just seeing you guys are the drive that make me do and fulfill my dreams. Yes, you are right, you are family.

Words to Ponder for the night.

ME as a CREDIT GRABBER! hahaha... thank you for tonight mga inday! :) So Yeah luma na ung phone ko... ALAM KO!@ hahahaha

Let's talk about skin baby!

Hello there! It's me! For today's blog I would be talking about my skin! If you guys have been reading my blog for the past years, I have talked about my skin progress and the products I have used.

(PONDS) https://lilmissjaninekaye.blogspot.com/search?q=ponds

(GARNIER) https://lilmissjaninekaye.blogspot.com/2017/01/product-review-garnier-facial-wash.html

Growing up, I didn't have much problem on my skin but when teenage years had hit me, (COLLEGE YEARS) oh men, my pimples are too many to mention. I became so frustrated how my skin looked liked that sometimes I just don't look at myself in the mirror. (Ang dami talaga ahahahha). I tried different products but it was useless. So before I waved good bye to my college years, I started to never care about what my face looks like. I just used Cetaphil for the rest of those years and Yeah, slowly my skin had started to have some progress. Not until I have used Garnier and Ponds it was completely flawless.

Yes, I still do have some zit moments especially when I'll have my period and if I have used products that's not hypo allergenic, boom hello there. I never had problems with my skin ever again not until quarantine.

A few months ago, my face had produced pimples on both sides of my face. It was like Puberty all over again, so I tried searching for the reasons why and there are tons of things to see on the internet that I have given up. Went on using my facial regimen until one day my Bff told me to join her giveaway, and magically I won! Both of us were shocked about the result! I myself didn't know if it was really real!

I won a special consultation treatment from Dr. Francesca from Quad Clinic (GolightMD), I didn't hesitate to ask about my face. She explained thoroughly the reasons why, it can be with the food that I eat, or the products I eat or body hormones. My case wasn't pretty serious that I need to take pills for it. She also gave me tips on how I should do my skincare because all I do was wash my face in the morning and in the evening with my facial wash.

All I thought that as long as you wash your face your good, but it's all about skincare. And not all skin types are the same. Did you know because of Quarantine, we could also develop a "Maskne", a cause wearing a mask and it's because of the heat or friction that leads to acne breakout and can cause itchiness. This may be one cause of the pimples on my face.

Did you know that the radiation in our computer could make our face age at the same time its like staying under the sun for hours and I'm like "Why in the world didn't I know that?!?!!" The use of Sunblock is one of the best first step beauty regimen that you should use, even if you're inside the four corners of your home. Second is of course the product that you're using to wash your face. Third is Moisturizer, I have stopped using moisturizer because of quarantine, and I thought that because we're in a humid country, we don't need moisturizer anymore. HUHUHU. Lastly, gently apply those products in your face, as in GENTLY, like what you see in a kdrama. :)

This is my face when quarantine started.

SKIN PROGRESS:

I have been using the products Sesamis (a Korean Product: Moisturizer and Face Wash), Ponds Acne Wash and Epiduo. So I followed Dr. Chesca's skin recommendation, on how I needed to do with my face.

Pictured my face progress every week.
  • Week 1 (2x a week): Monday, Thursday on other nights, just apply moisturizer at bedtime!
  • Week 2 (3x a week): Monday, Wednesday, Friday
  • Week 3: Every other night
  • Week 4: Nightly as tolerated
For two weeks, you can already somehow see the changes. Well, the bumps are still there but not as much as before. But during week 3 and week 4, there are almost no bumps like before, but somehow a little bit traces (pimple marks) but not like as many as before :) There would be times that it gets itchy, so I don't use it as the night before applying it again.

I'm super thankful with this online consultation, I get the chance to understand my skin problem and how I should deal with it hahaha deal with it talaga?!

Funny moment is when you started doing some skin care all you can tell to yourself "Ang hirap pala magpaganda!" ahhahahaha

Thank you, Dra. Chesca for sharing this beauty regimen for me.

AND THOU SHALL NOT POP YOUR PIMPLE..... this is one also one of the main causes why are pimples are building a subdivision in our faces hahahha... We can always ask experts on what to do with it. But no matter what age you are, zits may come and go :)

All I can say because of following Quadclinic and Dra. Chesca, I am learning so much about skin care through their instagram. Every My Day story has explanation about the different causes in our skin. It's not only just about the pigments in our skin, or because of acne but there's so much more! (Golightmd: https://www.instagram.com/golightlymd/ Quadclinic: https://www.instagram.com/quadclinic/

Of course beauty regimen wouldn't be as easy as 1 2 3, you really need to be patient with your skin. It takes months to really see it's progress.  All skin types had a different reaction with a certain product, consult your doctors first if you want to know what you guys should use in your face. :)

"Stand Tall" is one of my favorite line in the drama. It's about how you lift others up with those two words at the same time LIFT yourself up in times where things are on the bad side of the world. I also liked these words because it connected a friendship between Sang Wan and Dong Cheol. I was also touched when Sang Wan said to Dong Cheol that he didn't care about his family background. All he cares was him, because he is his friend. Their relationship had suffered a little turmoil in between but ended up finding the true meaning of their friendship because they know they will always have each others back.

Just finished watching Save Me! I'm pretty impress on how the story unfold. My emotions are on the cliff of bursting and currently undefined. The scenes that were delivered are pretty intense to the fact that it's like a bitter pill to swallow. Every character in the drama had served their part in portraying their characters. But I just have some itsy bitsy things to say within this drama.

Save Me is about a drama of a girl named Sang Mi who wanted/asked to be saved from a cult religious group in Gweoseon. 4 friends Sang Wan, Dong Cheol, Jung Hoon and Man Hee teamed up together to save her.

I was really excited for this drama because I have stayed away from this drama for so long because I don't think I couldn't handle it. Because before watching I do check reviews first, how was it? Is it something nice to watch? But the main reason why I wanted to watch this was because of Taecyeon hahahaha... I have watched all of his dramas and Jingook (Dream High) and Gun Woo (Who are you?) are my faves. Not to mention that Seo Ye Ji is here! and Woo Do Hwan, so my siblings and I gladly take the sit and watch it!

Seo Yeji as Sang Mi. My heart aches for Sang Mi, as soon as she came to Gweoseon, she knew from then the religious group was never good. It's just so heartbreaking that she gets trapped in the middle of it all and had to be emotionally drained because of the series of events that had came for her. I have felt every pain, every fear, every moment she asked for help. The moment she looked at Sang Wan made me feel like gosh I needed to save her to!

Her emotions speaks louder than words. The moment she looked at Taecyeon's character to ask for help, the look she gave her father with disgust as she pitied him, the look she gave for her brother when she was trying to stop him, the look she gave to Spiritual Father before she said his fake and the look she gave Taecyeon and Dong Cheol as she say her thanks, it was all coming from deep within. I have felt her cries. She's really took her scenes into another level as Sang Mi.

Ok Taecyeon as Sang Wan. Our favorite Hyung. Sang Wan is a son of a politician. He's character started as someone who fights together with his friends, and whenever they see his name, everyone gets scared because he is the son of a politician. As a fan of him I just felt that his screen time or scenes were very limited and I feel like his character was too short to be elaborated. I felt like his character at the second half of the drama seems to be useless because it felt like it was all talk and I'm like what is he thinking?!?!

But his Sang Wan has the huge character growth in the series. He carefully thinks about his actions in the past and dwell it with responsibility in the present. He became the police on his own right, and he even destroyed his father's doing and of course the cult.

Woo Do Hwan is Dong Cheol. All I can say his really one good actor! His performance here overpowers Taecyeon. And whenever he cries I always say this "Oh Pinaiyak nanaman nila si DOng Cheol" They have let Dong Cheol Cry again. It felt like Dong Cheol's character seems to be like the Main Leads character. He has the maturity of remaining good and still using his guts, despite of all the the years he had to endure because of a crime that was pushed towards him. YOU ARE SOOO GOOD!

His character is always looked down because of his family status. There's this one line that a bully had said to him "You are nobody if Sang Hwan wasn't on your side" but despite all of this he has a big heart in doing the best he can to save Sang Mi.

David Lee as Jung Hoon, reunites with Taecyeon after lets fight ghost! Is one of the boys whose dad was a Police Patrol Officer. He's like a mukbang vlogger and goes on livestream during one of his investigations with the cult.

Ha Hoe Jung as Man Hee is also one of the boys who is very good hearted that his willing to jump in whenever his friends are in danger.

Jo Sung Ha as Spiritual Father. Gosh the moment I saw him I know his going to be bad! Bad I never knew that his going to be this bad! He's the head of the religious cult and could sway you with his words but beneath those words was a monster. He's really creepy that whenever I saw him, I just felt goosebumps all over. He's so good that whenever I see him oh you bad human being oh He's a beast in this show! I don't think I could look at him the same way without thinking that he once portrayed the spiritual father! His acting was OH EM!

Jo Jae Hyun is Wang Tae. I still remember him as the 360 twist in Empress Ki! Oh I hated him! From the get go you know that this man will never do anything good! He's the right hand of the spiritual leader and he always cleans up the mess in everyone in their church. His manipulative and has too much love for money.

Park Jin Eung as Jun Shil. I still remember her as the Queen Mother who never loved Wang So. She's so brainwashed in this drama. She believed that she could be save just because she followed all the teachings Spiritual Father is giving. The words she say when she's telling the students the "Boat to salvation", the way she thought of "The way to Paradise" the way she was so emotionless but ended up being wicked and cruel. I just don't get why she had the ending where she still teaches and called herself as Spiritual Mother. WHY??! After all the things she had done!

Jung Hae Kyun as Sang Mi's father was the worst of all worst. I don't know how in the world his beliefs came from. After drinking from the blessed water he had this 360 twist where everything seems to be different from the way he is! The Way he SMILED at Sang Mi telling her that she needed to be a Spiritual Mother was disgusting! :( I couldn't grasp how in the world could he manage to that!

Yoo Sun Yoon is Sang Mi's mother. I was so scared she might die in the series because of what the cult has been doing. She became mentally ill when her son died and the cult had took advantage of it. :(

Save Me, also dwell the bad side of politics. When Money is involve the world turns upside down. When power is involve evil deeds will be widely spread and greed will be over the top. It's just so saddening that a happy family was ruined because of the cult.

Save Me is very disturbing as it also tackles murder, sexual assault, bullying and all religious cult activities. My stomach turned upside down when they are showing people being lured into the religious activity. It was so intense I couldn't even blink! There are just some parts where I felt like it was hanging in someway that I needed answer for this.

There was this scene in the drama where a girl was lost after asking for 2,000 dollars to give as an offering to the so called church, but after that we didn't know what happened next. Is the case solved? Where was the child? There's also the scene where The Reporter died and we didn't know where she was buried or where she was it was just plain she died. I was also anticipating a slight connection between Dong Cheol and Dae Shik since both of them worked at the Pub after he was released from jail, I was also thinking that maybe he could be a part of the gang but yeah, it's just me wishing!

This series was a superb! But my favorite scene in this drama when Hwang San knocked at Sang Mi's window and told her I WILL SAVE YOU. The emotions where so genuinely pure that it pinched my heart. I was really hoping for more scenes like this with Hwang San and Sang Mi... but yeah it was also a wishful thinking from me.

This is also one of my favorite scenesss :') It reminds me so much of my Nanay :')

What I have learned from this drama was the value of friendship, trust and faith with God is the soul of the drama.

Friendship, despite of all the ups and downs, even if things weren't the way we wish it would happen our friends will always have our backs no matter what. Friendship is what makes as whole as well. Our friends let us realize our worth, our friends let us realize we can do it and our friends will yell at you at us and say STAND TALL no matter what.

Trust is the core of the show, the cult leaders never trusted one another and that led them into a demise. Trust that Sang Mi has given Sang Hwan that he would save her. The reuniting trust Dong Cheol and Sang Hwan had. The trust that Sang Hwan had for his father through the years ended up as it was all lies, and it also led him in destroying his father. A mother trusting her child with everything that she needed to do in order to save them. There are lots of moment where trust was shown even in times of dark the trust to the Almighty (even if everything was all fake) was also shown in the drama.

Faith in God. I just feel sorry that this drama was a conclusion of all the lies people could do to manipulate a certain situation. If only it wasn't a cult, their belief in the Almighty that they will bring them to salvation is one thing that somehow lift ourselves. In dark trying times, we usually asked for help from above.  But if you go cray cray and things are getting a bit weird and everything you hear is false, you should get out there the same way as Sang Mi did, because there might be something wrong from the inside.

I enjoyed watching the drama despite of how bad and a bit disturbing the series was. It really pushed you at the edge of your sit!

She.

She talked to me like it was winter,

She tells stories as if she's the writer.

She would tie her hair like she's in a drama

And would laugh endlessly as if she was in a comedy.

I guess it was magic

Her eye smile was always a dead giveaway

More than the colors of the rainbow

She was the moon in all my sky.

And when the night fells

She would listen to her favorite music

And sing like it was her own melody.

I could tell she's the star of her own right.

But you know why I like her?

She's a story I would love to tell

But a memory I wouldn't share

Because she's my heart, my soul and mine.

She is me.

The woman who believes she can

And would hopelessly romantically believe

She is always worth the wait :)

Kdrama Feels (GCQ Special)

Heylow Everyone! I am back with my Kdrama Feels quarantine special. I never get out of the house unless it's for work (I do wall paints for our cafes) or for our needs (where we usually go out once a month).

So here are some of the few photos I have taken in a quick view when I was on the outside world. DON'T FORGET TO WEAR YOUR MASK, YOUR FACE SHIELD, SOCIAL DISTANCING and BRING YOUR ALCOHOLS WITH YOU!

Paint Like Kwon Si Hyun.

This photo happened early in February before the lock down happened.

I just felt like living in a kdrama because Kwon Si Hyun paints in Tempted.

Feeling like a Royal Couple at the Alley :)

Still couldn't get over with my Lee Min Ho and Eunsup's Love and when I saw The Alley at SM Fairview, I just couldn't help but to take a photo! :)

Tempted (Great Seducer)

"People pretend that they like you and are nice. The world is filled with that kind of people, so be careful. But don't you think deceiving yourself is the worst? Pretending that you're not hurt or lonely and that everything is okay. Someone I know used to do that. And the false pretense caused the heart to fall sick."
-Episode7

Finally done watching Tempted (Great Seducer)! Before watching a kdrama my brothers and I would watch their trailers first before jumping into a drama. If the trailer attracts us, then we watch it but if we didn't like it, we search for new dramas to watch.

Tempted was like a tap in back where it engages you to watch the series an be compelled to it's story line. Woo Do Hwan, Joy, Moon Ga Young And Min Jae were the leads in this drama. Never knew this existed until one of my cousins keeps on telling me that this drama was good.

Well the story line was a typical drama about a bet and then falling in love for real. (Me watching all sorts of dramas and movies that has Love Bets, you know that the main guy would definitely fall for the girl! Freddie Prinze Jr was the test of all bets in She's all that!) But the complications starts when the Main Lead falls for the girl and their friendship had lost it's balance.

Kwon Si Yon, See Joo and Soo Ji are best friends since they are young. Their definitely the heirs to their parents success, of course their characters had some twists and turns as the series progress, I just felt bad in a way that their friendship was torn due to their greed and selfishness.

Kwon Si Yon portrayed by Woo Do Hwan is a chaebol playboy who doesn't care about the women he hooks up with. So when he decided to take the bet on dating a girl name Tae Hee (Joy), he didn't expect to fall head over heels for her. Tae Hee on the other hand, is unaware of Si Yon's intention, but develops feelings for him.

Their relationship was a push and pull relationship. It seems like you typical kdrama lovers whose inlove with one another and then break up and then went back together and then cool off again. I love how cute they were but the on and off thingy was a hassle. I really like Joy on this one!

So let's talk about Si Yon's friends. Moon Ga Young and Kim Min Jae (my favorite babies!) Se Joon and Soo Jin, I'm really excited with these two because I like Moon Ga Yong in Mimi, she really captures my attention, and Min Jae as Yoon Si Yoon's son in Best Hit! But these two on this drama started as fun loving then complication starts when the Bet suddenly feels real for Si Yoon!

I like how the story started but gets confused in the middle hahahaha.... I didn't know where the bet was coming but I guess I wasn't really paying attention on how the story was because I was watching Do Hwan ahahhaha... sorry. His character here is very different from my favorite Eunsup!

I love how the drama would let you be engage in  every episode. But I really like JOY here! What I learned from this drama is all our actions has consequences, whether it's good or bad. Always be KIND to one another, live without regrets, live without selfishness, live life in the goodness of the heart. But we're only human, we make mistakes, but we should know how to apologize sincerely and to know our mistakes.

Thank you so much for taking time reading my BLOG!:)
