A minute with Nikki Gil :)

Yesterday was one of the most unforgettable experience I had.... It was not just a dream come true but something I would always treasure for the rest of my life and an advance birthday present from God :)

The fan swapping experience was something I never thought would happen. A girl like me who obviously don't trust myself went on thinking that I won't win this contest because I was late to submit. But hello fate, the contest was extended until September 12, 2013...... and hello dream come true :)

Ms. Corrs of ASAP called me and told me that I won Nikki Gil's fanswap.... I really wanted to scream out loud but I can't so after our conversation I went jumping like crazy and screaming like a weird fan girl from the outer space... 

Finally the day has come... :)

In a hopeless romantic case

Growing up, my head is filled with fairy tale stories about a girl who falls in love with a prince. I always picture myself being a princess and that one day my prince would come and marry me. But as I grow older, well, I still wish for my prince to come (even if he doesn't have a crown) and that he would save me from my "Man Hating" curse and that he would change the way I see about men...

Oh well, I'm still 21, and I still have a lot of time to see the man of my reality hahahha :)) I guess? In the midst of my daydreaming event, I don't know but, my hands and imagination started to drew couples and wishing that the girl I drew is me.... :))))

Rampage 2013

Another 1st time :) hahaha... New Experiences is Fun Fun Fun!

Who would imagine I would cross boundaries and put myself into cosplaying.

A month ago, my bestfriend and I had this conversation on "Why don't we try doing Cosplay? Just for once?". We even imagine how our costumes would look like. What if we try Fairy Tail? or Naruto? or Kaichou? and so on and so forth. After weeks and days of talking about it, we decided to make our dreams come true :) last August 10, 2013, Sunday at the SMX Convention Hall, our dreams came true.

Not knowing how Cosplay events really works, I gave my 100 percent best to participate in the event and trying to be my character Caitlyn. Speaking of Caitlyn, the theme of the event was Rampage 2013, everyone was dress as their favorite League of Legends Character.

Since it's my first time, I have picked the easiest costume to make. Well, my Caitlyn Version is way different from the original one... it's looks like I am Caitlyn in training... :) 

Costume was made by me, well, except for the dress (my mom made it), and the boots and the gun :) hahaha

The whole experience is fun especially when you are sharing it with your friend.... I love how energetic and active and happy everybody was... It was a night that was truly remarkable and exhausting :) eheh... Thank you Alyanna Martinez for sharing your workout experience to all of us! Happy PINK and ORANGE day for me! :) Lastly, My very special thanks to Iya of course for letting me join in this fun and exciting experience that I have never thought I would experience......

I love the idea of falling in love and meeting that one person that makes your heart beats faster and slower all at the same time. As much as I do believe in fairy tales there is this one feeling that I could never change maybe someday but I guess not today.

The fact that I am surrounded by men, from my brothers, to my uncles, grand fathers and friends, I still had a hard time relying to much on guys... It's kinda weird since I have tons of crushes but still I am a Man Hater...

I love reading anime's, cartoons, movies that tells their love story, it's somehow a feeling that I want to feel but I guess I'm not interested to whom I will be sharing that feeling. It's just that I can't help it. The feeling of hating men in a perspective that some people wouldn't understand. They say that I am spending too much on fairy tale love story that I forgot to think about the reality. Well, to be honest, I still know and I can still distinguish what is real and what is not real. It's just that I prefer to see what's happening beyond my emotions rather than just staring and feeling it.

And if that time comes, I know I could not stop it, I know that my heart would change, but to that person who will be invading my heart, you must be someone who can change the way I see men. That you can prove to me that it's okay to fall in love, as long as you will catch me when I fall  and that not all men are the same :) hahahahaha..... Simple right!

hahaha... why am I even writing this. Oh well. Yes apparently my dream guys doesn't exist in real life... they do but only in my dreams... so Here's what I have been doing for the past days when I'm off duty :)

and I know that someday there will be that someone who will make me blush unconditionally :)

Howdy!

Talking about Hair Beauty! I have never been into a salon with a friend before, it was always me, myself and I, staring at my hair for hours and getting excited to see its result.

Another First Time! Again, my friend Iya invited me to join her for the Behind the Scenes video shoot of her hair transformation, from Brunette to Blonde at Introspect Salon. I also had the chance to meet Ms. Cai De Leon (owner and chief make-up artist), Sir Rian Gonzales (senior stylist) and Lala Bueneventura (Junior Stylist)........

A rabbit who wants to be a unicorn

Once upon a time there was a rabbit who wants to be a unicorn.

“When I grow up, I want to be a unicorn”

Everyday, she used to draw pictures of a unicorn and visualize herself to be one; she look up in to sky closed her eyes and dream “What if I really turn into a beautiful unicorn?”

A lot of her friends and family never liked the way she dream, some of them thinks that her dream was to high that it was definitely unreachable, some of them felt pity of her ‘who would even dare to dream such high dream’ and some they just never agreed and tell her to find something else. How different she was from all of them.

Day and night, she tugged herself to sleep and cry silently, why is she so different? Despite of what everyone tells her, she stood up, wiped away her tears and said “I will be the most beautiful unicorn they will ever see, I’ll prove them that”. She put her fingers on her chin “How can I possibly do that!”

On the day she grew up, she blossomed into a fine young rabbit, and her talents graced her beauty, her intelligence reached everyone’s ears. Still, no one had recognized it. She searched and searched, changed her dreams, do what people had expected from her but she wasn't getting any of it.

She weep and weep, “why can’t I be like anybody else!”, “why is it so hard to reach you?” She sat by their window and weep once more “I’m trying so hard to be the very best that I can, why can’t my dreams turn into a reality”

A voice coming from her behind, “Honey, remember what I told you, never give up on something you really want. There are no dreams that is too high or too low, as long as you have the strength to reach it and believe you can, once you understand how things go everyone will like you”

“Like me? Who would even like me? Nobody likes a crazy bunny like me!”

“I do! I just don’t like you. I love you!” she smiles

“Of course, you’re my mother and everyone thinks that it’s just some lousy dream”

“Honey, you can be whatever you want to be as long as you stay true to yourself. So what if you wanted to be a unicorn, that’s your dream, nobody can say ‘don’t dream about that’ every dream needs some obstacle to walk or run on, every dream has a struggle. That’s why it is called a dream, you work hard for it”

“But how will I suppose to that? A rabbit like me can’t turn into a unicorn!”

“Who says you can’t be a unicorn?” she put a unicorn shape headband onto her head and wiped away her tears “You don’t need to be a real unicorn to prove to anyone that you are what you dream to be, look, there’s a beautiful unicorn inside of you, she’s there, waiting to come out and show the world what she’s truly made” she kissed her daughter and before she leaves her room she added “I believe in you, take the courage to make those dreams come true”

She faced her mirror and smiles “I am a unicorn! And I will not give up; this is my way of achieving it, because I believe!” She never gave up, she strived hard and she had achieved her goals in life.

There was once a bunny who once dreamed of becoming a unicorn and she did.
